Century Furniture, a Hickory, NC based company with a 62 year history in the furniture business, recently opened a permanent showroom at AmericasMart, Atlanta. This new showroom will be set on floor 14 of building one, a new area dedicated to promoting upscale home furniture. Century Furniture's showroom will serve as the floor's anchor, along with Massoud Furniture and A Touch of France.
The renovated floor includes dark wood paneling, copper-inset ceilings, sconces, and chandeliers. This should suit Century Furniture perfectly, as the company got its start by creating upscale 18th century furniture and progressed into new traditional and transitional style furniture that carries the same high quality and attention to detail that made Century Furniture famous.
Century Furniture's latest collection, South Beach, embodies the spirit of casual refinement that is embodied by the popular Florida destination. Resort living, sandy beaches, lively restaurants, nightclubs and hotels are popular sights in South Florida, and the South Beach collection fits perfect with all of them. Created by renowned furniture designer Richard Friniar, the coffee brown shade of the Hularo® fiber makes it a perfect pair with contemporary solid colors and is wrapped around a low-slung aluminum frame to cast a contemporary shadow.
