These zones are designed to offer extra support to key areas of your body while sleeping, helping you maintain a healthy nighttime posture.
A recent article in Furniture Today reports that Therapedic will also be carrying Leggit & Platt mattresses that offer a pocketed coil edge that increases total mattress area, as well as a polypropylene insulator that is reported to increase firmness in key areas. These mattresses are coming to a showroom near you, so be sure to ask a sales rep for more info.

Snore
Inner-springs are dead. Too much material cost for a short shelf life and what consumers are labeling as "earth-unfriendly". Innerspring manufacturers will become part of the specialty market in the next 5 years, the exception being cheap Costco throw-away mattresses.
