The Malaysia International Furniture Fair was interrupted last week when torrential rain eventually flooded the streets of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Despite the construction of a "Smart Tunnel" draining system, these flash floods have become a regular occurrence for the city.

The Malaysian International Furniture Fair, held March 3rd through March 7th, is the first in a string of major overseas buying events designed to get retailers ready for the summer remodeling season. Spread over 2 giant campuses, the Putra World Trade Centre and the MATRADE Exhibition and Convention Centre, the Malaysian International Furniture Fair will bring in buyers from over 130 nations.
