As part of an industry that has been long plagued with stereotypes of harsh conditions, poor pay, and child labor, Jaipur Rugs has made efforts to ensure that the creation of our handcrafted rugs involves none of the previously mentioned. The artisans who create our exceptional rugs are more than workers: they are part of our family. We constantly monitor their progress as weavers and as families, listen to their requests, and act upon them.
