I recently got a TV lift from Designer's Touch. These guys make custom furniture, but they also carry a line of "Off the Shelf" TV Lift cabinets that use their own lift mechanism. The operation is smooth, and the unit adjusted to fit my television perfectly. Even better, their infrared system lets me control my DVD player with its remote without having to open the cabinet! I would totally do business with them again. Talk to Justin, he'll take care of you.

Those are really cool. I seen those on HGTV and was wondering where to get them, how much, and what sizes. Thanks for the tidbit. Now all I need to do is find the one that matches my living Room. I have a lot of exposed wood and dark brown leather, so it shouldn't be that difficult.
Thanks for the tip!
I would be interested in building this into a recessed alcove in a wall. If it was deep enough, you could even put items in front of the opening to conceal the seam.
